The Gentian flower is for distrustful, disgruntled horses that are easily discouraged. They are excessively cautious and hesitant and will often shrink back when touched or at feeding times. They are wary of other horses and their owners and this is often caused by a change of stable or owner, or the loss of a member of the herd. Gentian is the flower of belief and helps develop courage and optimism. It increases confidence and calmness.
